Thank you for praying for and supporting God’s work at Pebble Creek!
Nov. 18th Thanksgiving Sunday
Think of all God has done for us… right, we can’t! He has done more for us than we even know. I give thanks daily for my faithful partners in ministry as well as the new families God has sent our way. Oh, how grateful I am for the love and unity we share as we go forward by faith to be a healthy, maturing, and multiplying church! I also am humbled by those who faithfully give their tithe and offering as well as those who live in other places who share our vision and regularly invest in God’s work at Pebble Creek. Future generations will be touched with the gospel because of their gifts.
Each year we prepare ourselves to offer thanksgiving to God during the Thanksgiving holiday. This Sunday, we will provide a Thanksgiving-themed sheet for you to record all for which you are thankful. Begin to write down things for which you are thankful and do this each day from now until Thanksgiving Sunday.
On Thanksgiving Sunday, we will bring our lists of gratitude and place them on the altar and have a time of prayer to express our gratitude to God. Our lists will be posted on the bulletin board(s) so we will remember to give thanks as we come to the close of another year.
Annual Thanksgiving Offering 10:30 am Nov. 18
Also, on Thanksgiving Sunday we will receive our annual Thanksgiving Offering! Please pray about what God would have you to give above and beyond your regular tithe and offering as an expression of thanksgiving. Your regular giving makes it possible to establish a healthy church so the next generation may come to follow Christ!
Thanksgiving Fireside Fellowship 5 pm Nov. 18
Thanksgiving Sunday evening, we will gather around our fire pit to cook hotdogs, roast marshmallows, and simply enjoy being together. There will be laughter, sharing, and maybe even some singing. Be sure to dress comfortably, bring a flashlight, lawn chair, hotdogs, buns, soft drinks, and condiments, marshmallows, and whatever utensils you may want to use. Our kitchen and fellowship hall will be open. We’ll all bring extra to share! If you would like to volunteer to bring some firewood that would be great!
Food for Students
Please bring your non-perishable food items for elementary school children to the church on Thanksgiving Sunday, November 18. They will be delivered to the school on November 19 so they may be sent home with the children during their Thanksgiving holiday.
I am so thankful for your partnership in the gospel!
