Before receiving the Spirit’s call to ministry, he spent many years in sales and management roles in the business sector. He has been married to his wife, Dr. Jane, a local dentist, for 13 years, and they have three sons. Amy Parks

Children's Minister

Amy grew up in a Christian military family in the Lowcountry, where the church and its community played a meaningful role in shaping her faith. As a child, she served alongside her family in children’s ministry, which is where her love for working with kids and sharing God’s love first began. She accepted Jesus as her Lord and Savior in her early teen years and has continued to follow His call to serve wherever He leads.
Amy graduated from North Greenville University with a degree in Early Childhood Education. While she discovered that public school teaching wasn’t her calling, she spent over 12 years in the Early Childhood field, serving in various childcare centers across the Upstate. The friendships and connections she made in those years led her to her first role with the State, where she supported childcare centers and employees across South Carolina with their education and training needs. Ultimately, Amy’s passion for children and her love for the Lord brought her here to Pebble Creek Baptist, where she is excited to invest in and nurture the littlest lives in our church family.
In her spare time, Amy enjoys painting, crafting, photography, and exploring the outdoors with her Siberian Husky, Elsa. Together they find new adventures, meet new people, and rarely have a dull moment!

Candace Snyder

Ministry Assistant

Candace grew up in a Christian home where church wasn’t just something you did on Sundays—it was a way of life. Her parents believed in being at church whenever the doors were open, and that rhythm of faith shaped her deeply. From a young age, she was taught the importance of serving and being an active part of the body of Christ—values that continue to guide her today.
She worked for 14 years as a secretary at Prisma Health before joining our church staff. She brings with her a strong work ethic, a servant’s heart, and a love for supporting others behind the scenes.
Candace and her husband, Jesse, have been part of our church family for the past six years. From the start, they found ways to quietly serve to support church life, and Candace now plays a vital role as our Ministry Assistant. She also serves on the worship team, where she finds joy in using her voice to lead others in praise.
Married for 16 years, Candace and Jesse are raising three daughters, whom she homeschools. A creative at heart, she loves planning and decorating for her daughters’ birthday parties and brings that same joyful creativity to church events and special gatherings.
Candace considers it a privilege to use her gifts—both practical and creative—to serve the church and glorify God in every season of life.
