Operation Christmas Child at Pebble Creek Baptist Church
This year, Pebble Creek Baptist Church is partnering with Operation Christmas Child to share the hope of Jesus Christ with children around the world. Our church goal is to fill 400 shoeboxes—both in person and online.
Operation Christmas Child is about more than just giving children toys, school supplies, and hygiene items. Every shoebox is a tangible expression of God’s love. When children receive their box, they are also introduced to the Good News of Jesus Christ through a booklet called The Greatest Gift. Many are then invited to participate in The Greatest Journey, a 12-lesson discipleship course that teaches them how to follow Christ and share Him with others. Graduates receive a New Testament in their own language—often the first Bible their family has ever owned.
How You Can Participate
Every shoebox matters. Every gift opens the door for a child to discover the greatest gift of all—salvation through Jesus Christ. The last day to bring your packed shoebox is Sunday, November 23rd.

How You Can Participate
- Join Our Packing Party – On Tuesday, November 5th, we will pack 200 shoeboxes using the generous donations we’ve collected throughout the year.
- Pack a Box at Home – Pick up an empty shoebox from the front of the sanctuary and fill it with gifts for a child. Please also include the suggested $10 donation per box to help cover shipping and ministry costs, which ensure that each box is delivered and accompanied by gospel materials.
- Build a Shoebox Online – Use the Samaritan’s Purse online option to select items and send a shoebox directly, while still helping us reach our church goal.
- Give Financially – Designate a gift for OCC, and we’ll use it to support packing, shipping, and discipleship materials.
- Pray– Most importantly, pray for the children who will receive these boxes: that their hearts will be open to the gospel, that families and communities will be transformed through the message of Christ, and that God will multiply the impact of every gift.
